The Old Vicarage is a Grade II listed residence, parts of which are believed to date back over 300 years and provides B&B accommodation with views from all rooms.
The guest house is situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, in the heart of 'Herriot Country", 3 miles from Leyburn and 4 miles from Aysgarth Falls.
The Old Vicarage lies on the edge of the ancient village of West Witton, to the south of the A684 country road, with panoramic views across the Wensleydale valley as far as Castle Bolton to the North, and with unrestricted views of Penhill to the South.
West Witton provides an ideal location from which to explore the Dales, whether it be by car, motorcycle or bicycle, all of which are welcome at The Old Vicarage.
We provide off road parking and can, if requested, provide secure parking for motorcycles and bicycles.
Our five individual guest rooms are decorated to a high standard and have the benefit of flat screen TVs with freeview channels, beverage tray, hairdryers, shaver socktets and radio alarm clocks.
The comfortable guests' lounge provides a peaceful haven for those wishing to sit and relax. There is a large selection of reading material and a log burning stove to add to the cosy atmosphere during the cooler months.
We offer a comprehensive breakfast, with a choice of fresh fruit, cereals, fruit juice and yoghurts followed by a freshly cooked breakfast of your choice accompanied by either fresh ground coffee or a choice of teas. Vegetarian and gluten free options are available. We also prepare packed lunches on request and offer a flask filling facility.
